Stefan LouPoe Noltemeyer - guitar and bass
His parents made the momentous decision to give him an electric guitar when he was 14. So a promising career as a swimmer disappeared into the guitar case and to this day LouPoe takes the freedom to make music intensively in the recording studio alongside his professional work without switching on the computer.
Anke Hafner - Vocals and Cazoo
Her parents enrolled her in classical recorder lessons when she was six. This turned out to be a mistake, but via one or two equally classical detours, she ended up singing jazz, which has been a balm for her in all kinds of situations and an escape from her clearly timed everyday life as an architect.
Since the lockdown, the two have been exploring the possibilities of minimalist musical interpretation together.
A duo with subtle magic. It is obvious how much the two enjoy their music. You could be forgiven for thinking that the laid-back sound is a mere accompaniment to enjoyment.
And yet the repertoire holds astonishing surprises when, between hand-picked jazz standards, equally convincing outliers from icons such as Madonna or Jimi Hendrix can be heard.
So don't be surprised - just enjoy!
