Rote Burg Forum

Im Sommer 2020 haben wir, d.h. die buddhistische Gemeinschaft Triratna in Berlin, ein Gelände mit zwei ehemaligen Ziegler-Gebäuden im Norden von Berlin erworben - die „Rote Burg“. Dieses Gelände wollen wir über die nächsten Jahre zu unserem eigenen Retreatzentrum umbauen – ein lang gehegter Traum!

Viele von euch waren im Verlauf der letzten zwei Jahre schon draußen, um an Camping-Retreats oder Sanghaarbeitstagen teilzunehmen, und haben erfahren können, welche Strahlkraft und welches Potential die Rote Burg als Ort für unseren Sangha besitzt. Im Hintergrund arbeitet ein Team daran, gemeinsam mit Architekten und Ingenieuren ein Konzept zu entwickeln, wie die Rote Burg für unsere Zwecke umgebaut werden kann und wie wir als Sangha ein solches Projekt stemmen und finanzieren können.

Ihr seid alle herzlich eingeladen zur dritten Ausgabe unseres Rote Burg Forums. Wir wollen den aktuellen Stand der Planung mit euch teilen und aufzeigen, was die nächsten Schritte sein werden und wie ihr euch bei dem Projekt einbringen könnt.


In the summer of 2020 the Triratna Buddhist Community in Berlin bought a piece of land with two old Ziegler buildings just about an hour north of Berlin – the „Rote Burg“. Over the next couple of years we want to turn these premises into our own retreat centre – a long-cherished dream!

Many of you who have been out there over the past two years to attend camping retreats or sangha working days could get a glimpse of the charisma and potential that the Rote Burg has as a place for our sangha. In the background, a team has been developing a concept for the conversion of the site -along architects and engineers- and has been coming up with ideas of how to fund and manage a project of this size as a sangha.

We invite you to attend the third edition of our Rote Burg Forum. We want to share the current state of the planning with you and show what the next steps are and how you can become part of the project.
