Dieses Jahr am 26. August wäre unser Ordensgründer Urgyen Sangharakshita 100 Jahre alt geworden. Um diesen Jahrestag zu feiern, finden dieses Jahr viele Veranstaltungen rund um Sangharakshita und sein Leben in der gesamten Triratna-Welt statt. Als Highlight wird es über seinen Geburtstag ein einwöchiges internationales Retreat in Adhisthana (England) geben, zu dem alle Triratna-Sanghas aus aller Welt eingeladen sind. Adhisthana ist der Ort, an dem Sangharakshita die letzten 10 Jahre seines Lebens gelebt hat und an dem er auch beerdigt ist. Es gibt dort auch das “Urgyen-House”, ein Ausstellungsraum, der Aspekt aus Sangharakshitas Leben zeigt.
Auch von uns aus Berlin möchten einige nach Adhisthana reisen, um dieses Event gemeinsam zu feiern. Es gibt auch noch Plätze in den Bettenzimmern für Gäste außerhalb der UK. Sollten die voll sein, gibt es auch die Möglichkeit zu campen.

This year on 26 August, our founder Urgyen Sangharakshita would have turned 100 years old. To celebrate this anniversary, many events centred around Sangharakshita and his life will take place throughout the Triratna world this year. As a highlight, there will be a one-week international retreat in Adhisthana (England) over his birthday, to which all Triratna Sanghas from all over the world are invited. Adhisthana is the place where Sangharakshita lived for the last 10 years of his life and where he is buried. There is also the ‘Urgyen House’, an exhibition room that shows aspects of Sangharakshita's life.
Some of us from Berlin would also like to travel to Adhisthana to celebrate this event together. There is still indoor accomodation available for guests coming from outside the UK. If those are full, there is still camping available
