Mainland European Order Convention 2026: „At Play in Fields of Gold“

The convention is one of the precious and rare occasions when we have the opportunity to come together as an Order Sangha from all countries across mainland Europe. Let’s make this a special occasion and gather from across the continent! 

The convention will be led by Munisha (Stockholm), Vassika (Paris), Nityabandhu (Krakow), Arthakusalin (Ghent) and Aryanayaka (Oslo). In addition we have a creative ritual team for our times in the shrine room – Simharava (Berlin), Amalamati (Barcelona) and Mokshavayavi (Essen). 

The programme team say this about our time together: 

Bhante Sangharakshita likens the free-flowing energy of the Bodhisattva to that of an elephant joyfully plunging into one lotus pool after another. Come and explore how to live an active and connected Dharma life, spaciously, lightly and playfully!

The Mainland European Area is Triratna’s most diverse in terms of countries and language, and our convention is a precious opportunity to gather in large numbers. Reflecting this diversity and the playfulness of the theme, we’ll share a spacious programme of meditation, ritual, talks, discussion and conversation, as well as creativity and the arts.

The convention will be held here, at Ökowerk Schloss Tornow, about 70km north of Berlin, just under 2 hours on public transport from Berlin main station. Details of how to get there will be sent out closer to the time. 

Bed linen will be provided, but you will need to bring towels. 

The event will begin with supper at 18.00 on Monday  20.7. and you are welcome to arrive on site from 16.00. The convention will end on Sunday 26.7. at 11.00.

We have set the cost for this event at €400 but if we are fully booked then the cost may reduce!
