Sangha-Fest

Der Sangha, das ist das dritte Juwel im Buddhismus, nach dem Buddha und seiner Lehre. Die Gemeinschaft derer, die gemeinsam praktizieren und von denen wir lernen können, ist so wichtig, dass wir ihr einen eigenen Feiertag widmen. Sie ist so wichtig, da in der Gemeinschaft alle Ideale des Buddhismus zum Leben erwachen. Außerhalb von Menschen gibt es keine Erleuchtung. Ohne Sangha, keine Erleuchteten außer des Buddhas. Und obwohl „Sangha“ so ein großes Wort ist, fängt Sangha bereits im Kleinen an - in den Begegnungen und der Kommunikation, die wir miteinander haben. Der Sangha ist ein Netz aus Freundschaften, der Dharma eine Kommunikation unter Freunden.

The Sangha, that is the third jewel in Buddhism, after the Buddha and his teaching. The community of those who practise together and of those from whom we can learn is so important that we dedicate a whole festival day to it. It is so important because it is in the community that all the ideals of Buddhism come to life. Outside of people, there is no enlightenment. Without Sangha, no enlightened beings other than the Buddha. And although "Sangha" is such a big word, Sangha already starts in small ways - in the interactions and the communication we have with each other. The Sangha is a network of friendships, the Dharma is a communication among friends.
